2019 is one hundred years since women first appeared in uniform in the Metropolitan Police

I spent a year photographing a stills documentary for the Met archives.
This involved privileged and private access to all the Met divisions. My photographs
show the vital and equal front line roles played by women serving alongside male colleagues.

An exhibition of some striking images from this series at City Hall, London
during April and May 2019 attracted reviews in the Evening Standard, ITV Arts and London Live.

The Met published a book of my images in October 2019 as a conclusion to their centenary year.
